Nakava will be celebrating the 37th Annual International Chief's Day in typical BULA fashion!!

Come out on April 14th and drink kava in honor of our Chief. Get krunk, eat local tribe foods, and give it up to our local Chief. Celebration begins at 7pm and continues until is way past the time to go home.

Tribes' people, please feel free to bring your favorite dishes to contribute to the celebration. We will be BBQ'ing beginning at 8pm.

Vote for Nakava in WPBF's A-list

Nakava has been nominated for WPBF A-list for Trendy Bar, alongside Hotel Biba in Palm Beach, Fitzy's in Delray Beach, and the Tiki Bar and Lounge.  I know there some really tough competition on the list, but please support your local kava bar and vote for Nakava.

Nakava in News (AGAIN!!)

Becoming almost commonplace, Nakava is yet again in the news. This time Nakava is side-by-side with our kava bar brethren here in south Florida. Nakava was part of a feature on kava culture in Florida. I have lost track of how many times Nakava has been in the Sun-Sentinel, but I would guess it is around 4 or 5. What is even better though is that this news article was picked by the Solomon Island Times!

"The first to bring kava to South Florida and the biggest Tiki hut in town, Nakava has been providing locals with kava for the past six years. Located right behind Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, the nakamal is a self-proclaimed "local island getaway" where you can relax and unwind after a long week of work."
